  • Do I have to have a consultation?
    We require all new clients, or if you have have not visited us for 6-12 months or longer - depending on the treatment, to undergo a consultation before beginning any treatment course at The Dermal Space. This policy ensures that your therapist gains a comprehensive understanding of your skin's unique needs and conditions. Everyone's skin is different, and this step is crucial for tailoring a treatment plan that aligns perfectly with your individual skin concerns and goals. The consultation fee is complimentary for all treatments booked for the same day, we recommend starting with a customisable medi-facial or LED treatment, suitable for most skin types!
  • Where is the best place to park?
    The city is a busy place, please allow time for parking! Options include various car parks and ticketed street parking, please note that the parking opposite us is a clearway from 7-9:30am and 4-6:30pm. Alternatively, we are located a 5-10 minute walk from Parliament station, and close to trams/various buses along Victoria Parade. If you require assistance, please feel free to contact us.
  • What is your booking, deposit and cancellation policy?
    Booking Policy: For all appointments, we kindly request that appointments be made 24 hours in advance. To schedule within 24 hours, please contact us by phone. Additionally, clients are required to complete the appropriate forms prior to their appointment. Deposit Policy: We require all bookings to be secured with a deposit. It is our priority to accommodate the preferences of all our clients, and without secured bookings, we risk the possibility of other clients missing out on their preferred day and time. This allows us to ensure that we meet the needs of all our valued clients, including yourself! Our deposits are approximately 25% of the treatment price and is redeemed against your treatment, unless our 48-hour cancellation policy has been breached. Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 48 hours notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. For cancellations made within 24 to 48 hours of the scheduled appointment, we reserve the right to withhold 50% of the deposit. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time or no-shows will result in the full deposit being withheld.
  • Can I bring someone with me?
    We kindly request that all clients attend their appointments alone. Our clinic has a cozy waiting area that is designed to accommodate our clients comfortably as they prepare for their treatments. Unfortunately, we are not equipped with the facilities or staff to supervise children, and for safety and comfort reasons, we ask that they not accompany you to your appointment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a serene and focused environment for all our clients.
